The Hamilton-Halton Home Builders’ Association held its’ annual President’s Gala on Saturday, November 16th at Liuna Station in Hamilton. The night was a celebration of the hard work and success of the Association and this year’s President, Nick Carnicelli, Carriage Gate Homes Ltd. More than 250 people attended this event at which the HHHBA also recognized the efforts of very hard-working members and friends of the building industry:
1) DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD – BUILDER MEMBER
This award is presented to a builder member who, during the past year, has made an outstanding contribution to the housing industry and our local association.

2 DISTINGUISHED SERVICE AWARD – ASSOCIATE MEMBER
This award is presented to a non‑builder or associate member who has made an outstanding contribution to our local association throughout the past year.

3) RENOVATOR MEMBER OF THE YEAR
This award is presented to a renovator who has made an outstanding contribution to our local association throughout the past year.
2019 Recipient | Jordan Bradburn, The Bradburn Group Inc.
4) THE KEVIN MCINTOSH MEMORIAL AWARD FOR THE UNDER 40 YOUNG PROFESSIONAL OF THE YEAR AWARD
This award is presented to a member of the association who is under 40 years of age and has made an outstanding contribution to either the housing industry or furthered the involvement of the U40 community within the association throughout the past year.

5) PAUL WRIGHT MEMORIAL AWARD
This is a special award which is presented to a member or a non‑member who contributed remarkably to the housing industry.

6) ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP AWARD
This is presented in recognition of outstanding contributions above and beyond regulatory requirements, to the natural environment in Hamilton and Halton.

HHHBA President, Nick Carnicelli of Carriage Gate Homes has an opportunity to recognize individuals who have helped to make his year successful and he has awarded them with a Presidential Award.

The Gala’s theme was inspired by Nick Carnicelli’s love of the 80s music. A few selected members were the recipients of special, fun awards, named after memorable personalities and movies of the era. The night closed with a fantastic live performance by Funkhaus.
