What is CNOY?
"The Coldest Night of the Year is a family friendly 2 or 5km fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Each year in February, tens of thousands of Canadians step outside the warmth and comfort of home to shine a light of welcome and compassion in their communities. Since 2011, CNOY has raised over $75,000,000 across Canada in 190 Canadian communities. 100% of proceeds stay local to support our CNOY charity partners." https://cnoy.org/home
How is Turkstra involved?
Turkstra has been a supporter of CNOY since 2017, with the walk becoming a company wide initiative in 2019. As proud supporters of the communities in which we work, Turkstra has raised over $350,000 for CNOY since 2020 (I unfortunately don’t have data for the earlier years). We are currently 44% of the way to our $60,000 fundraising goal in 2026, and are one of the top corporate teams nation wide for fundraising.
