West End Home Builders’ Association (WE HBA) and the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) applaud the Ontario government’s decision to remove the construction permitting restrictions and the prohibition on starting new renovations that were part of the emergency orders that came into effect on January 13.

West End Home Builders’ Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Collins-Williams as its Chief Executive Officer, effective February 1, 2021. Mike brings a wealth of expertise in planning, policy and government relations, having been a key contributor to the Ontario Home Builders’ Association (OHBA) for over 17 years.

From political battles to administrative duties, life is never quiet for Suzanne Mammel. But the efforts of the Hamilton Halton HBA Executive Officer and her staff over the past 365 days were particularly worthy of attention, as evidenced by their 2019 Local Association of the Year honour, presented at the OHBA Annual Conference at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood at the end of September.

The Hamilton-Halton Home Builder’s Association’s Women In Industry Committee was founded in 2018 and is the first Women’s Group within a Home Builders’ Association, nationally.  The Committee consists of a group of passionate women who aim to support, educate, connect and empower Women in Industry.
